Kelly L. Calhoun, MPS is a historic preservation consultant living in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is also a licensed realtor with Talbot Historic Properties. Kelly is proficient in the fields of Architecture and Development; Architectural Technology, Real Estate Development, Preservation Consulting, Property Research, Documentation and Staff Management, Historic Community Building, Marketing, Committee Building, Research, Public-Speaking, Fundraising and Community Engagement.

From a diverse childhood growing up along the Gulf Coast, Kelly grew up experiencing architecture, cultural heritage and the built environment from many perspectives. As a result, she shares a kinship with these destinations that many others never experience. Kelly attended Tulane University as a third-generation legacy, but branched out into a field unknown to her family: architecture. Her love of history, architecture, beauty and soirees have led her to the exciting field of historic preservation.
Favorite building: Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, by Art Nouveau architect Antoni Gaudi.
Favorite architectural style: Greek Revival - symmetry, order, classic.
Best trip: Havana in 2016 or Big Bend/Marfa in 2017.
Favorite movie: Gone With the Wind.
